ICYMI: AFP-WI State Director Encourages Grassroots Involvement in Heartland Post Op-Ed
Madson, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) State Director Megan Novak published a new op-ed in the Heartland Post Thursday encouraging more Wisconsinites to get involved in grassroots activism ahead of the elections this November. Novak wrote that the stakes are too high this year for Wisconsinites to sit on the sidelines, urging them to consider what Democrats might do if they secure victory in the fall.
“Wisconsin Democrats have told us they will repeal Act 10, just as they have told us to ‘get over it’ when doubling down our raising our property taxes for the next 400 years,” Novak wrote. “Grassroots engagement isn’t optional; it’s decisive in Wisconsin elections.”
The piece highlights the incredible accessibility for grassroots involvement and how easy it is to make a difference, whether it’s through activities like volunteering or just intentional conversations with neighbors.
“As November approaches, the question isn’t just who will win, but who will show up, both at the ballot box and in the months leading up to election day. Wisconsin’s history makes one thing clear; elections here are not decided by spectators. They are decided by participants.”
