AFP-WI Applauds Tom Tiffany’s Transparency and Honesty in Governor’s Race

Madson, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) applauded Tom Tiffany’s transparency in the wake of Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez’s exit from the governor’s race Friday following reports of major inaccuracies in her campaign’s finances. The news comes months after Rodriguez was caught on tape declaring she would draft the next state budget “behind a curtain” if elected, proving she was always comfortable hiding what she does with taxpayer money despite asking voters to trust her in managing the state’s budget.  

AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak released the following statement: 

“Wisconsinites deserve full transparency and honesty from their next governor, which is exactly why we are proud to have endorsed Tom Tiffany. He has promised from day one to be honest with taxpayers, and he has the record to back it up.”
