AFP-WI Praises Vice President Vance for Affordability Message During Plover Visit
Madison, WI — Americans for Prosperity–Wisconsin (AFP–WI) applauded Vice President J.D. Vance’s remarks on the economy and the cost of living during a visit to Pointe Precision Inc in Plover on Thursday.
The vice president highlighted the Trump Administration’s work to bring down prices on everything from housing and electricity to groceries and gas after the four years of Bidenomics that destroyed our economy.
AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak issued the following statement:
“I applaud Vice President Vance for getting to the heart of the issue on every Wisconsinite’s mind; affordability. Since the disastrous days of Bidenomics, our team continues to hear from people across the state that affordability is still top of mind. We have faith the Trump Administration will be just as successful delivering on affordability this year as it was in 2025.
“AFP-WI wants to continue that momentum at the state level here in Wisconsin. We know from our grassroots efforts that Wisconsinites want policies to alleviate the strain on their bank accounts. That’s why we’re supporting Tom Tiffany for governor and his efforts to lower property taxes and energy bills to make life more affordable in Wisconsin.”
