AFP-WI Issues New Legislative Endorsements for July
Madson, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) endorsed two new candidates for the State Legislature Monday. The new candidate support is part of AFP-WI’s latest efforts to prevent a Democrat trifecta in November and elect candidates who will lower taxes, cut energy bills, and end Gov. Tony Evers’ unconstitutional 400-year property tax that are squeezing the Badger State’s hardworking families.
AFP-WI has already backed Tom Tiffany in the fight for the governor’s seat after the failures of Gov. Evers’ leadership, as well as eight other policy champions who will help restore sanity to the legislature in Madison. AFP-WI’s army of grassroots volunteers has also been out in force, knocking on thousands of doors and educating voters on the policies that will bring their cost of living down.
AFP-WI’s newly endorsed candidates include:
- Jim Croft (Senate District 21)
- Bobby R. Lindsey (Assembly District 89)
AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak released the following statement:
“Wisconsin faces the most important election in a generation this year. Property taxes are too high, energy costs are out of control, and yet Democrats continue pushing policies that will continue to increase the pain being felt by families. That’s why we endorsed Tom Tiffany and our other policy champions, and why we’re adding Jim Croft and Bobby Lindsey to our slate of endorsed candidates.
“Jim and Bobby have proven themselves as candidates who understand the values that make Wisconsin special. Both believe in the power of the free market, small business, education freedom, and commonsense fiscal policies that help all Wisconsinites. We’re glad to give them both our endorsement, and we look forward to helping them win in November.”
