AFP-WI Launches $1.5 Million Statewide Ad Campaign: Wisconsin Can’t Afford David Crowley

Latest AFP-WI campaign escalates massive grassroots effort for Tom Tiffany with over 700,000 doors knocked; activists deploying daily through Election Day

MADISON, WI — With Election Day rapidly approaching, Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) today announced a new $1.5 million statewide ad campaign, building on a grassroots effort that has already reached more than 700,000 voters across Wisconsin and will continue through Election Day.

AFP-WI activists are canvassing tirelessly every single day through November to deliver a clear, urgent message: Wisconsin cannot afford David Crowley as governor. The new campaign spans multiple television and digital spots featuring real Wisconsin voices. Lori from Brookfield says Tiffany “knows that things need to be changed.” Nancy from Milwaukee adds he “wants to bring energy costs down,” and Brett from Muskego believes “with Tom Tiffany we have a good chance of real fixes rather than just more government regulations.”

AFP-WI is accelerating its efforts to expose Crowley’s failing record before voters head to the polls. The ads hammer Crowley’s disastrous record in Milwaukee County: three consecutive property tax levy increases, a devastating sales tax hike, and policies that forced taxpayers to pay more while getting less. Furthermore, Milwaukee families were left footing the bill for a failing school system where only 9 percent of fourth grade students can read at grade level.

AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak released the following statement:

“David Crowley has been consistent on one thing, and that is supporting progressive policies that led to higher taxes in Milwaukee County. Now he wants to make life more expensive for the rest of the state, driving up costs so people pay more and get less.

During Tom’s tenure in the state legislature and while in Congress, he has been committed to lowering costs and taxes for hardworking Wisconsin families and businesses. The stakes in this election couldn’t be higher, and AFP-WI’s dedicated grassroots activists have knocked on over 700,000 doors this cycle and we’re continuing to build momentum every day through Election Day.
